I have started working on a new portrait a couple of days ago. It is of a lovely chihuahua called Marley. I just love the reference photo the client gave me. Marley looks so cute in it lying down on the blanket. He has such a lovely expression. The painting is 20 x 25 cm (8″ x 10″) in size and I have put down the basic colours and shapes. I have started some of the detailing too. I have taken a few pictures of the progress.
