This painting is a 30 x 30 cm portrait of a dad with his baby boy. The client commissioned this portrait as a present for the father in the picture. I worked from a lovely reference photo with some lovely rich colours and I wanted to translate this in the painting. I tried to balance the warm red tones with some some cool greens. The client was very happy with the painting a wrote me a lovely email:
