Bride and Groom Drawing

Posted on November 4, 2018

This drawing is 30 x 40cm in size and drawn with graphite pencils on paper. I use mostly Staedtler pencils on Fabriano paper with cotton. I use a HB pencil to sketch the initial portrait and then work with 2B, 4B and 6B pencils. This was an interesting project with a lot of detail, including in the background. The photograph missed some detail so it was challenging to capture the bride and groom’s faces at such small scale, but the client was happy with the finished portrait.
