I am working away on this puppy pencil portrait. I am working left to right as always so as not to smudge as I draw. The base drawing goes down first and when the whole area is covered, I will go over the details and make sure it matches the photograph. This portrait is working out quite well, I love the puppy’s expression. I got sidetracked with other duties, so it is taking much longer than I thought, but I am getting there. Below are next two steps in the pet portrait painting process.
