I started working on a portrait of Judy today, a portrait commission from Ireland. It is a birthday present for her owner. She is a beautiful dog. I love her classic pose. I drew her out in paint and added some indication of the background. It is a photograph, so the image seems very dark. I will be working on it more today and in the next few days adding more shading and detail to take away the flatness.
