I have started working on the new horse portrait today. I have taken some photographs of the progress so far. The first stage is now completed with the sketch and some basic shading down on canvas. The size of the painting is 10 x 12 inches (25 x 30 cm) and I am painting with acrylic paints on stretched canvas. This horse portrait is based on a photograph I took.
Next stage of the painting is putting down some basic background and further develop shading on the horse. I will post pictures as I go on.
