I have finished working on George’s portrait today. I wanted to make sure it really works and all colours are harmonizing together, so I took an extra day for finishing touches. I hope you like it. I think it worked out quite well. Below is a scan of the finished painting. I tried to match the colours to the original as best I could, but of course the original will always look better. I am also including a detail image of George’s head and chest.
The portrait is painted with acrylics on stretched canvas and is 14 x 18 inches in size. It was commissioned with a portrait gift voucher that the client received as a birthday present from her friends. Next up is a graphite pencil drawing of two beautiful basset hounds which is going to be a Christmas gift for their owners.
