Hello everybody. I have finished another pencil family portrait. I have scanned it today. It is always hard to capture all the detail of the pencil in the scans, but I did my best. The originals look so much better. I have to practice with the scanner (or just get a better one :)).
I was working on this portrait last week and finished it just yesterday. It is of the client’s grandparents and I had plenty of reference photographs to work from which was great. The size of the portrait is 40 x 30 cm (16 x 12 inches) and it is drawn with graphite pencils on paper. I will be mounting it in a neutral coloured mount before posting. I hope you all like it. Next on the list is a painting of two gorgeous German Shepherds.
