I have been working on a new portrait. It is of two gorgeous black labradors called Brodie and Bruar. They look so lovely together, so close and the composition is a little different this time. Instead of looking at their eye level, they are looking up at us. I am really enjoying drawing this portrait so far. I have drawn out both dogs in detail and I will now start shading and darkening the image. I am going to leave the background plain with some shadow and stones at the dogs’ paws.
