This is the final scan of the pencil portrait I have been working on. I finished it today and scanned it. It is always hard to scan drawings, the scanner doesn’t show up all the subtle pencil lines. I find the contrast is too high. I did my best though, and it is pretty close to the original drawing. The portrait is 25 x 25 cm (8×8 inches) and I will be mounting it in a lovely neutral colour mount before posting.
Next up, I will be working on a lovely wedding portrait with coloured pencils, and a painting of a gorgeous Jack Russell who has sadly passed away last year. I am also working on making the website mobile-friendly, which means a lot of moving things around making everything more fluid. It is coming along very well, but there is a lot of pages to update and a lot of new portraits to add to the gallery. Hopefully the new site will be up and running soon.
