This is a portrait of Massey. It is 30 x 40 cm in size painted with acrylics on stretched canvas. Massey sadly passed away earlier last year. The client commissioned his portrait as a birthday present for her husband in December. Massey was his beloved pet and the client wanted to gift him something special for his birthday. I had a few photographs of Massey and we settled on one of him sitting in the grass, changing the background a little. The client thought Massey looked a bit sad in the photo so I softened his muzzle in the portrait.
The client was very happy with the result and emailed after she gave it to her husband too, who was delighted with his present:
Ivana it’s simply amazing!!! I absolutely love it, it’s even better than imagined! You are so talented…..I just wanted to let you know that Aidan absolutely loved the painting! It’s absolutely beautiful and he already has it hanging up in the kitchen! Thanks again,
