I finished another pet portrait in pencil. This one is of an adorable Jack Russell Terrier called Neeka. Below are progress images together with a little detail of her face. I will post the final scan tomorrow. The drawing is on 200g Fabriano paper using Staedtler and Daler-Rowney artist graphite pencils HB, 2B and 4B….

The Grandmother portrait is now finished. I have scanned it and I will add it to the gallery page very soon. It was hard work with all the detail especially of the skin and hair. I enjoyed every minute of it, wrinkles are so intricate and interesting. It changed the way I’m looking at age….
