Welcome to the Gallery of Wedding Portraits in Pencil and Acrylic!

The gallery shows examples of some of my previous wedding portrait commissions. I have created portraits of couples in different settings on their wedding day. Some are based on photographs taken in beautiful natural settings, some are vintage interior portraits or exterior portraits.

Most of these commissions have been given as wedding gifts or as gifts for the couples' children in the case of the vintage portraits.

The portraits on this gallery page are drawn with graphite pencil on paper or painted with acrylics on fine stretched canvas.
I work with professional quality acrylic paints by Winsor & Newton and Old Holland on fine grain stretched canvas made in Italy by Belle Arti. All the pencil drawings are drawn with Mars Lumograph Black graphite pencils by Staedtler and Graphite Pitt Matt by Faber-Castell on quality Fabriano paper.
